Session Description | ||
Shana Ontong was at the precipice of success. She had reached the breakthrough point in her career, when her life changed overnight. Literally hours away from exciting developments that would have seen her career change and evolve, she woke up unable to feel her legs. Within 48 hours full paralysis and blindness would set in and she would be locked in her own body, leading to a harrowing journey of recovery. Wheelchair bound and severely visually impaired, she had to learn to walk and talk again. Feeling despondent and utterly hopeless, Shana realised that she had to make the most important decision of her life: whether to give up, or to carry on. Shana tells the story of what happened when she made that choice, and how it impacted her life and her career. |
